Creative Director

The Creative Director oversees all aspects of content development for Engenious marketing. Marketing includes business development and recruiting. The Director is responsible to oversee company branding that’s consistent with Engenious values and market positioning. The Director applies their background in Graphic design to guide all work.

The Creative Director aligns with Engenious leaders on marketing goals, strategy and plans. The Director oversees the development of content in collaboration with Engenious stakeholders, contributors, and freelance Graphic Designers, Copywriters, Videographers, Photographers and others.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Above all, ensure a brand identity consistent with Engenious values and market positioning, including graphics and copywriting.
  • Understanding and articulate target audiences, their pain points and needs.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital, print and written communication inclusive of advertising.
  • Develop, and direct development of, Graphics consistent with the Engenious brand identity, using expert-level Graphic Design skills.
  • Manage Graphic Design, Copywriting, Web Development, and Print partners, both on-staff and freelance.
  • Maintain and improve business processes to ensure consistent and high-quality marketing materials.
  • Plan and deliver regular training and coaching on Graphic Design, Infographic Design and Copywriting to the Engenious Team.
  • In the context of this job title, “Director” refers to manager responsibilities as a personnel and work manager but not as a Director with executive responsibilities within the company quality system.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in graphic design.
  • At least 3 years experience working in a creative agency (marketing, branding, graphic design) in a design capacity as part of a team with external clients.
  • Solo freelance work directly for end clients does not qualify as creative agency work, unless the freelance work was as part of a team within a creative agency serving clients.
  • Expert-level skills with photoshop, illustrator.
  • Graphic design portfolio that demonstrates a B2B-compatible design aesthetic.
