Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and like working with a highly-engaged team of sharp people.
At Engenious Design, embedded system Product Architects are the front line of understanding real-world users: healthcare providers, rocket designers, athletes, to name a few. Architects are visionary technical leaders with a knack for bringing new products to life.
Architects uncover what users need and distill those needs into embedded system product architectures and requirements – deploying diverse technologies to meet their goals. While some of their peers might be intimidated by a blank sheet of paper, Architects are the opposite: they thrive starting from scratch, navigating ambiguity, and finding the balancing of ideal and practical. They are block diagram experts, quickly mapping out key components, technologies, and interfaces while working shoulder-to-shoulder with electrical, software, mechanical engineers, interaction designers and industrial designers.
This person isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty in the lab creating and testing proofs of concept. They are equally comfortable talking to clients, project managers and highly technical engineers. And they have launched multiple products into manufacturing, understanding what it takes for a product to be successful in the field.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Architect, Design, Build and Test complex electromechanical systems with microcontrollers, mechanisms, and high-speed electronics
- Work closely with clients and industry experts to help translate their vision into a technology solution
