We seek a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team; a hands-on leader who is an active agent for team growth and support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the Development of New-Product Electrical Designs, working closely with industrial designers, mechanical engineers, prototype model makers, technicians, and others.
- Mentor and Champion Professional Growth Opportunities for engineers on your team.
- Architect, Design, Test, and Plan the Development of complex electronic and electromechanical systems.
- Apply Risk Management Principles to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficient development of new products.
- Develop and Grow Client Relationships as a key technical point of contact for client designs.
- Grow Your Expertise in the Medical-Device Field and apply the knowledge and principles of other electrical-engineering specialties to medical applications.
- Aid in the Continued Improvement of Our Electrical Design Practices so that we can quickly bring new products to market as a world-class design organization.
POSITION DETAILS:
This is a full-time, permanent position. This leadership position is based in our Kansas City design center, and not available as a remote job.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8 or more years of applicable experience in electrical engineering with a proven track record in several of the nice to have applications.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Printed-Circuit Board Placement, Layout, and Routing Expertise
- Experience in Medical Device Certification (60601-1, etc.)
- Electromagnetic Compliance Expertise
- Radio-Frequency Circuit / Antenna Design Expertise
- Proficiency with Electrical Lab Equipment and Soldering Techniques
- High-Speed Electrical Design Expertise
- Control System Expertise
- Experience in Embedded Firmware Development
- Familiarity with Advanced PCBA Fabrication, Assembly, Inspection, and Testing Technologies
