Engenious is a place where crazy ideas come to life every day, and Test Technicians are an integral part of our design team. As a Test Technician, you are responsible for testing everything from early prototypes of aerospace components to final versions of life saving medical devices. You will be on the front lines of answering questions like “is this possible?”, “why did this fail?”, and “is this device safe and effective?”. You will be asked to be an optimizer, executing and adjusting test protocols to get the highest quality data in the least amount of time. As a part of a design team you will also contribute to designing, building and troubleshooting prototypes of all types.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Execute Testing of complex systems, software, electronics and mechanical systems and subsystems
• Work in a Close Team of Product Architects, Product Managers, Software, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineers
• Contribute to the design, creation, and documentation of test techniques, methods, and test setups
• Test and Debug electronics with an oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator and other electronic lab equipment
• Provide Feedback to Designers and Engineers on features that worked well, design elements that could be improved, and other creative solutions to design challenges
• Assist with Root Cause Analysis of anomalies discovered during testing
• Learn About the Medical Device Industry working on experimental medical devices and applying your existing expertise to great use
