For over 10 years, Engenious Design has brought high-tech and medical devices to market. And our clients want to connect those devices to the cloud. As a Back End Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure for various client projects.

This opening is the first Back End Software Engineer at Engenious. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience to draw upon and be comfortable working independently and occasionally performing additional, adjacent tasks of Dev Ops and Front-End development. They thrive with faster paced projects and can quickly get a demo going. With widely varying audiences, both internal and external, scaling communication will be key. Being in the consulting business, they will be comfortable recommending solutions, but also flexible if the client chooses a different path.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Collaborate with Clients to understand their needs and limitations to create a custom solution just right for them
• Architect Systems with a focus on maintainability and security
• Implement, Deploy, and Maintain Solutions using .NET, Node.js, Django, or other framework of choice
• Create Databases with SQL, MongoDB, or other database
• Lead Testing and Deployment using best practices for continuous integration
• Assist with Front End using HTML, CSS, or Javascript (nice to have)
• Assist with Dev Ops to AWS or Azure (nice to have)
• Compliance to Cybersecurity for HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 (nice to have)
• Learn New Technologies by keeping up to date with the latest trends
